What Can't Go in the Dumpster
Look, we take almost everything, but some stuff just can't go in. Here's what needs special handling:
Absolutely prohibited:
Radioactive materials (obviously)
Flammables and explosives
Wet paint (dried paint is fine)
Batteries
Additional fees apply for:
Tires and wheels
Medical or hazardous waste
Anything with asbestos
Bulk liquids
Got something weird you're not sure about? Just ask. We've probably dealt with it before, and if it needs special disposal, we'll point you in the right direction.
About Weight Limits
Each dumpster includes tonnage – that's the weight covered in your base price. Most residential projects never hit the limit. Tossing out old furniture, renovation debris, or general junk? You're golden.
But here's the thing about weight: concrete, dirt, and shingles are heavy. Really heavy. If you go over your included tonnage, it's $75 per additional ton. We're pretty good at eyeballing loads, and we'll give you a heads up if things look heavy before we haul.
Roofing project? A typical residential roof tear-off can get heavy quick. Let us know upfront – we might be able to work out better pricing for shingle disposal.
When You'll See Extra Charges
We keep it simple. Additional fees only happen when:
Distance: You're beyond our standard service area (we'll tell you the delivery fee upfront)
Weight: You exceed your tonnage allowance ($75/ton over)
Special items: Tires, appliances with freon, materials requiring special disposal
Extra time: Need it longer than planned? Daily rates apply after your rental period
That's the whole list. No sneaky "environmental fees" or "fuel surcharges" popping up at checkout.
Why Our Pricing Makes Sense
Sure, you might find someone cheaper. There's always a guy with a truck who'll undercut us by fifty bucks. But think about what you're getting here:
We show up when we say we will. Our equipment won't leak oil on your driveway. We carry proper insurance so you're protected. Our drivers know how to place a container without tearing up your yard. And when Murphy's Law kicks in (because it always does eventually), we answer the phone and make it right.
This isn't just about renting a metal box. It's about having a partner who won't leave you scrambling mid-project.
